Tata Chemicals honoured with Aon Best Employer award

Mumbai: Tata Chemicals (TCL), is a global company with interests in businesses that focus on LIFE —Living, Industrial and Farm Essentials. The company has been awarded with ‘India's Best Employer Award’ by Aon at a ceremony in Mumbai on the March 30, 2016. TCL’s continuous investment in talent development and initiatives towards creating a conducive work environment was acknowledged and awarded at the prestigious platform.

The Aon Best Employers India 2016 covered 113 companies across 12 industries, cumulatively employing approximately 950,000 employees. The companies were nominated basis a rigorous analysis to measure the alignment between ‘intent-design-experience’, assessed through CEO survey and interview, people practices and employee opinion surveys. The shortlisted set was then taken through an intense on-site audit to validate the details provided. An external panel of unbiased jury comprising of corporate and academic communities evaluated the participants and arrived at the final list of India’s best employers of 2016.

Speaking at the occasion, R Nanda, chief human resources officer, TCL, said, “We are honoured to be recognised and to have received this prestigious accolade as ‘India's Best Employer Award’ by Aon. The Aon Best Employers programme was first conducted in 2001. The 2016 study was conducted in partnership with Businessworld and Bloomberg TV India. In Asia, it runs in 12 markets: China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand.
